Hello everyone!

Here we are in other new adventure through this world of blog and post....

Well first of all said I've been laid down in bed for 3 days with a terrible backache, thanks to a bad sleep, long shifts working, long time in front of the computer..... Now I feel quite better but last week was an intense and long one so,
here is an advice, always have a good rest when you know you are going to have a busy week if you don't want your body suffer the consequences.

All right, now lets go with some thing interesting, last Friday at 4 pm was the deadline to give our projects about some thing invented or created on the 50's and its evolution till today.
Well in the last post I show you my three ideas or options for the poster, but I had a big problem and it was that the poster I like to use for the final design it has lot of colors and it had nothing to be with a 50's style so I had to reinvented the same work trying to gave it an old fashion style touch mixing color and black and white.

But first lets see the poster and after that we'll to comment it.

Well and this is my final design.
Maybe the composition is not the appropiate for an old style poster, but isn't it to express the evolution of some thing from the 50's till today, it is? And that its what I was trying to create,
something new like is the world in letters shapes using many different kinds of typographies using old and new style but in B&W giving it a quite old touch and leaving it without much effects but i tried to left some gaps between letters without gap, a meant trying
to leave it as if it were an impression mistakes.
But where I focused the hard work was in every one of the little satellite trying to give an old treatment to each of them and using with them only the old CMYK color palette.
And in the bottom of the page in white is the tittle of the poster and in the bar code from above I tried to make it look old.

And that's all for today.

thanks and hope see you soon

Ai Ai!!!

Hello everyone!

Here I am another night more for write a little in my very interesting diary blog.

Well the thing is yesterday in class we had to show our three ideas for the posters, all the ideas
in printable format, but I didn't had much done on digital format, all was sketches and pics.
So, I show my work to Julie, our teacher, and she advise me to "rethink" all my ideas and change it.

I did not have much time after class because I had to work, and I finish really late yesterday, uff! busy day, and the same this morning...

So at the end today after work I came with the next ideas:

Hello again!!

I couldn't post last week because I've been away for a few days...
But I'm back... je je je

Well last week me and my class had been in a couple of exhibitions about the war and its consequences.... Buuff!!!! really hard images. But it was an original idea because the first one
try to show the horrible things the war bring within trough a series of pictures from Vietnam
war in B&W and in the next room a series of color pictures of the Gulf war and the most cruel things that happened there.

The second one was in Fabrica and it was the most impressive because the place its an old big church, empty by the inside and it was nothing but a huge banner on the bigger side wall, the banner was like a collage of color pictures of smashed heads, dead bodies and mutilated bodies and lots of cruel pictures about war. The first impression cause a big impact.

If you are a sensible person I recomend take it easy.

And today we've been in the Poenix building just in front of St. Peters church.
We saw an exhibition of various different artists, french all of them, and different kind of technique and methods in photography, playing with the depth and shadows in the B&W photographs and the color and composition in the color pictures.

Nice exhibition.

I left links with pictures from todays exhibition.

See you soon!!!!
